"Did you know that your TiVo can charge your iPod or cell phone?"

Despite frequently pondering the ubiquity of USB and it's usefulness as a power source, I never really considered the practice of charging things via the TiVo, etc. It could be particularly handy for someone who wants to hook up his iPod/Zen/etc. to the television without digging through a mess of wires behind the TV in search of a free outlet.

Just plug it into the TiVo or the video game console or any of the other USB devices you've got sitting right there. Problem solved!
