SNL Might Suck Less, But It'll Still Suck

Horatio "can't keep a straight face" Sanz and Finesse "incapable of being funny and has a stupid name" Mitchell are gone from SNL. Hallelujah! Combined with the departure of Tina Fey, this is a major reduction in SUCK on the show. A new addition that might add some new SUCK to the show is director Don Roy King, who's entire directing career has been spent on morning news shows.

These cuts were made as an alternative to reducing the number of shows SNL produces in a season. It seems like a strange choice when you consider that SNL seems to be lacking enough quiality sketches as it is. Had I been in charge, I would have cut the number of episodes AND dumped Sazs and Mitchell.

What does this all mean? It means that Amy Poehler will now be in 100% of sketches, instead of 99%. Fortunately for us, she's extremely funny. Still, it's hard not to feel sorry for her when you see her carrying the whole show on her shoulders.

I agree the show should be way better now! It look them way too long to get rid of Sanz and Parnell.

With the exception of the John Mccain episode, I've not watched an episode in years.
