In episode EABF16, Bart and Millhouse stumble upon the gigantic Beatles paraphanalia collection in Ned's basement. I always thought the Beatles obsession seemed a bit out of character for Ned, but then again he also has beer on tap in his home. In every paradigm there is a paradox...or two. This is just one of the more recent in a long string of Beatles references on the show, which include guest apperances by the three (then) living Beatles. Matt Groening, as well as a number of other Simpsons mainstays are known Beatles fanatics.
