If you've read this site for any length of time, you know about TiVo's HME apps. These are utitlies, games, etc. that run on your computer and add new features to the TiVo. What many people don't know about is the pseudo-unofficial apps.tv service. I say pseudo because it is run by a TiVo employee, but in an unofficial capacity.

While setting up HME apps on your PC can be time-consuming and highly irritating, setting up apps.tv couldn't be more convenient. Simply add 209.97.196.52 to the "music, photos and more" section of your TiVo and you're ready to go. The 100% free applications currently offered by apps.tv are:
