John Kricfalusi is the man behind Ren and Stimpy. He's also done, among other things, some recognizable work with Bjork and Tenacious D. He has an appreciation for the art of animation that is infectious. This analysis of the old Mickey Mouse cartoons - complete with superb screenshots - is a particularly enjoyable read.
