Google has moved search records out of China, to keep the Chinese government from snooping around. They're also making their censorship more transparent for the end user. Kudos to Google for taking reasonable requests seriously, while other companies (I'm looking at you Yahoo!) are helping the Chinese government put dissidents in jail.

Now, if Google could only stash American search records somewhere out of our government's reach.
