For those who completely stress out about buying gifts, WTG will be running a gift guide feature over the next month. Each entry will focus on a different category of gift. This week's edition features earth friendly products.

  • Jimi Wallet - Jimi is the wallet for people who hate wallets. It is compact, translucent and lovable. Made of reycled/recyclable plastic. (my g/f uses one of these. It's small and durable.)
  • Bike Chain Bottle Opener - This bottle opener is so cool, it makes twist-off irrelevant. The flexible chain handle provides endless fiddling fun, and the cog head works like a charm. (I've used this before. It is extremely sturdy and a great conversation piece)
  • Vinylux Record Bowl - New York artist Jeff Davis created these wonderful and practical record bowls from actual recycled albums (that are no longer playable) with the original record labels intact. The labels and spindle-hole are protected by a clear seal.
  • Big Shrimpy Dog Bed - Sturdy, odor- and water-resistant, it looks handsome in any living room or den. All components of this bed can be machine washed and dried, even the filling! This bed is filled with fleece scraps recycled from North American manufacturers.
  • Presso - A revolutionary way to make conniseur coffee at home. The Presso is a gorgeous hand-operated espresso maker that requires no electricity.
  • Bottle Cap Fishing Lure - Manufactured from recycled bottle caps, steel rattlers and assembled with VMC The World's Finest Hooks, the Bottle Cap Lures catch everything from bass, crappie, and perch, to trout, salmon, walleye, pike, muskie, char, whitefish... north to south, the list goes on.
  • Juicy Fruit Recycled Juice Bag - Next time you go grocery shopping, take along this tote made from real recycled juice box labels.
