We've all seen the nifty, if useless "picture piles" that Google's Picasa generates. They served absolutely no purpose. Fortunately, that's no longer the case.

PiPiView, a free add-on for Picasa, turns those piles into fully interactive web-enabled picture shows. Using Flash, you can sort through the images by dragging them around or merely flipping through them with your arrow keys. It's a clever hack and makes and inspires for future Picasa enhancements.
